David is President of Complete Holdings Group, the parent company for EnableComp and Parity Inc., which provide workers' compensation revenue solutions to healthcare providers and payers. Additionally, he is President of the David Jones Group, a firm that provides business consulting and executive coaching targeted at small to mid-sized companies/organizations and emerging leaders. He is also a certified coach and facilitator for the The Alternative Board® (TAB).
Prior to starting his own company, he worked 30 years in the energy industry where he held key managerial and executive positions in both staff and line functions. His corporate experience includes 16 years in Human Resources with a Fortune 250 Energy Company working in a variety of functional areas and management positions including head of Human Resources. The last 14 years was spent in field operations, where he was promoted to Vice President of Eastern Operations for El Paso Corp. with general management responsibilities for operating and maintaining three large interstate pipeline systems and one of the nation’s four Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) receiving terminals. These systems comprised over 1,300 employees, 30,000 miles of pipeline in 25 states, and 165 plants with annual operating budgets in excess of $400 million.
David also has hands-on experience with mergers and acquisitions with El Paso Corp. which went through three separate multi-billion dollar mergers. He was selected to lead the merger transition team responsible for consolidating and realigning the operations, technical services, engineering, financial and commercial functions of the merging organizations.
He was active in key leadership roles within the energy industry and has served on the Southern Gas Association’s Corporate Telelink Network (CTN) Board of Directors, Chairman of Interstate Natural Gas Association of American (INGAA) Security Committee, Vice Chairperson of the Oil and Natural Gas Security Coordinating Council and a member of the National Infrastructure Advisory Committee (NIAC) Pandemic Work Group.
David brings a unique blend of hands-on-experience in large corporations, small business, and business consulting to both Complete Holdings Group and TAB. He holds a B.S. in Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and an MBA from the University of Houston. He has completed Executive Education Programs at the University of Michigan, Rice University, and the College of Executive Coaching. He has authored several articles in national publications and his first book, Surviving and Thriving After Losing Your Job was published in 2009.
He and his wife reside in Franklin, Tennessee, along with their two grown children and grandchildren, where he is active in numerous professional, civic, and church organizations.
